You have to find comfort in uncomfortable situations. You have to be able to live in your worst nightmare because it puts you completely in the moment where you must have complete focus on finding a solution to the problem. 

This trains the mind to build that focus, to increase your awareness, your capacity to solve problems."

Yoga allows you to find comfort in discomfort. If you have ever watched the documentary 'Choke', you would have seen Rickson practising yoga as part of his training camp for the Vale Tudo tournament.

Rickson understood that in order for him to perform at his best, he had to develop a training regime that incorporated:

  1. Mobility

  2. Flexibility

  3. Strength

  4. Breathing

These are the 4 cornerstones that my Yoga for Jiu Jitsu Workshop will cover. I'll share my personal training regime which will help you to build mobility, flexibility and strength in everything from your neck to your toes. The workshop will commence and conclude with a number of breathing techniques that you can use on the mat when you need them most. 

About me:

I'm a full-time Yoga Teacher who has trained and competed in Jiu-Jitsu since 2016. I've recently joined the Royal Grappling Academy and am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you all on the mat. OSS.
