Conquering fear is the first hurdle we face in our handstand practice. It can be a lonely, frustrating and unfulfilling road. But fear not! In this fun and creative workshop, we'll work together to build your confidence and give you the tools to safely get upside down.
We'll delve into anatomy, specific strength movements, handstand variations, various entry and exit transitions and partner work.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.
My wish is for you to leave this experience with a deeper understanding of alignment and technique that will encourage you to start introducing handstands into your yoga practice more often.
If you’d like to book, pop your details below and I’ll get right back to you!
I met Adam last year when I attended his workshops in YogaHub. He was kind enough to sit down with me in my studio where we talked about challenging yoga norms, the necessity of physical assists and taking an academic approach to teaching. You can listen to that episode here: #22: Adam Husler - a very British (XXL) episode, mate.
Adam’s episode proved to be one of the popular so far with listeners so I’m excited to host him as a guest on my first live show. After the interview, the floor will be opened to the audience for a closing Q&A. Have your questions ready!
Spaces are limited so if you would like to join please RSVP before April 2nd by sending me your info below and we’ll save a spot for you.
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas if we didn’t overdo it on the turkey or nut roast. You can’t watch Home Alone for the umpteenth time without putting in some coach time.
Luckily, I’ve got the new year remedy for you and your core.
This Pilates influenced core workshop will be dynamic and a challenging asana practice. Activating your core will help make your yoga practice more fluid and keep your back healthy and happy.
Sometimes, the missing link in smooth transitions, balancing poses and inversions is a strong core. Training your core muscles is much more than just getting a “flat tummy”, it’s about creating endurance and stability throughout the whole body, enabling freedom of movement and supporting your back, freeing you from back pain.
Looking forward to seeing you on the mat January 27th.
A workshop that will offer physical challenges and allow personal expansion to recognise our strength as men. Through self-study and mindful movement, a man can recalibrate his priorities, his relationships, and his well-being.

No prior experience with arm balances? No worries! Suitable for all levels. I will provide plenty of modifications and variations.
Explore what you are capable of doing. Take home an inspired spirit with a greater awareness of these powerful poses.
This 2-hr workshop costs €29 (10% discount for members)
This is a FREE event but spaces are limited.

Rickson Gracie once said:
"Where there is discomfort, there's fear. In these very tough positions, you're in a little piece of hell. And through this daily suffering, you learn to survive in these situations.
You have to find comfort in uncomfortable situations. You have to be able to live in your worst nightmare because it puts you completely in the moment where you must have complete focus on finding a solution to the problem.
This trains the mind to build that focus, to increase your awareness, your capacity to solve problems."

Yoga allows you to find comfort in discomfort. If you have ever watched the documentary 'Choke', you would have seen Rickson practising yoga as part of his training camp for the Vale Tudo tournament.
Rickson understood that in order for him to perform at his best, he had to develop a training regime that incorporated:
These are the 4 cornerstones that my Yoga for Jiu Jitsu Workshop will cover. I'll share my personal training regime which will help you to build mobility, flexibility and strength in everything from your neck to your toes. The workshop will commence and conclude with a number of breathing techniques that you can use on the mat when you need them most.
I'm a full-time Yoga Teacher who has trained and competed in Jiu-Jitsu since 2016. I've recently joined the Royal Grappling Academy and am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you all on the mat. OSS.

Let’s face it, in most public classes we tend to shy away from the things we’re not so good at. Incorporating postures that require a strong core and upper body can seem daunting and even a bit risky. After all, standing on your head is not something one does every day, well not yet anyway!
In this mixed ability 2-hour strength workshop, I’ll give you a series of vinyasa sequences designed to safely build core and upper body strength. These building blocks will help to approach inversions and arm balances with greater confidence, enriching and balancing your overall practice.
If you’re new to Yoga or upper body flows, take the leap and try something new, you might just find that you're good at it.
